Outlook 365 / 2024 / 2021 / 2019 / 2016 Update for November 2024

The November security and rollup update has been made available for all Click-to-Run installations of Outlook 2016, Outlook 2019, Outlook 2021, Outlook 2024, and Outlook as part of a Microsoft 365 subscription.

It contains 8 security updates for Excel (5), Word (1), and Shared Office Components (2).

In addition, it contains 1 non-security fix related to Outlook Current Channel Version 2410, 5 fixes related to Outlook Monthly Enterprise Version 2409, and 2 fixes related to Semi Annual Preview Version 2408.

  • Version 2410
    • Resolved an issue where all characters didn’t appear correctly when creating an Outlook task from OneNote.
  • Version 2409
    • We fixed an issue where the app closed unexpectedly when a cache file contained corrupted data.
    • Resolved an issue where an email wouldn’t fully render in the preview pane. (Word)
    • Fixed an issue that was preventing emails with linked SVG content from saving or sending. (Word)
  • Version 2409 and 2408
    • We fixed an issue that caused content marking to not show up properly in S/MIME messages.
    • We fixed an issue where Wait On Send evaluation would never complete if the editor was processing changes.
