Update Rollup 6 for Exchange 2010 Service Pack 1 is now available for direct download (see below for links). Expect it to become available via Microsoft Update on November 29.

This hotfix solves an issue with the custom document property values not displaying in a document library when you save an email message from Microsoft Office Outlook 2007.

Obtaining the hotfixes
Since these are hotfixes and not regular updates, you won’t be offered this update via Microsoft Update but will have to request it. You can do this at the information page of each hotfix.
If you are not (seriously) effected by any of these issues, it is recommended to wait for the next Service Pack or regular Rollup Update which will most likely contain all these fixes as well.

When you slipstream Service Pack 3 with your Office 2007 installation media, Office 2007 will be directly installed at Service Pack 3 level, saving you the trouble of applying it afterwards. All you need is Office 2007 Service Pack 3 and the installation file or CD/DVD of Office 2007.
Optionally, you can also modify the installation to already accept the EULA, fill out your Product Key and customize some additional settings.
The third (and final) Service Pack of Office 2007 has just been released!
You can install it by using the standalone installer listed below or via Microsoft Update.
Service Pack 3 contains all previous updates and hotfixes and several previously unreleased updates. This also includes all Service Pack 1 and Service Pack 2 updates so you can directly apply Service Pack 3 in case you don’t have them installed yet.
After installing Service Pack 3, Help-> About Microsoft Outlook will show version number:12.0.6607.1000

Did you know that you can set up an Outlook.com account (formerly known as Hotmail) with your own current email address or personal domain and don’t necessarily have to use an @outlook.com address?
This allows you to both send and receive emails with an address which you already own, even if it is from another provider such as Gmail.
Using an Outlook.com account is a great alternative for your current POP3 or IMAP account if you want to sync your emails, contacts and calendar items with multiple devices such as your desktop, laptop, netbook, tablet or smartphone. It behaves a lot like a personal (hosted) Exchange or Office 365 for Business account but for free.

If you are an Exchange 2007/2010 administrator and are using the Exchange Management Console (EMC) on a computer/server with Internet Explorer 9 installed, you probably have run into the following error when trying to close the EMC;
You must close all dialog boxes before you can close Exchange Management Console.
This can happen even when you have closed all the dialog boxes before attempting to close the EMC.
The Exchange Team has now announced hotfix KB2624899 for this bug. The hotfix targets Internet Explorer and it is recommended to obtain the fix by calling Microsoft Customer Support Services; no support costs will be charged. This is recommended since it is a hotfix and not a regular update, so in case the hotfix causes an issue, Microsoft can contact you.
