Outlook Connector upgrade loop

Microsoft has begun sending out upgrade notices for the Outlook Connector. However, it appears that the download link given still points to the old Outlook Connector version (version 12.1).

To get rid of the endless loop, download the latest version of the Outlook Hotmail Connector (version 14.0) from the correct location;

Outlook.com dropping EAS support for Outlook

As Microsoft is completing the migration of the Outlook.com mailboxes to the Office 365 platform, they have begun turning off Exchange ActiveSync (EAS) support for Outlook.

This will only affect you when you are using Outlook 2013 or Outlook 2016 and haven't configured your Outlook.com account as an Exchange account yet.
