Message size issue in Outlook 2010 Beta
The Outlook Team has put out a warning about large message sizes when sending out a message with Outlook 2010. While working with a Beta version of software could always lead to unexpected results, this bug can also affect the recipient of the message.
The issue is related to using bullet lists. When you use bullet lists in your message, the CSS of the message (which controls the formatting of the message) does not get properly truncated and a small message could become quite big. This could even result in that the message may no longer be displayed correctly at the recipients end.
The current fix is to simply restart Outlook 2010 Beta (at least once every day). This issue will be fixed of course once Outlook 2010 gets released.
Outlook hangs caused by recent PayPal messages
A recent change in the PayPal notification messages can cause Outlook to hang for a couple of minutes. The issue is caused by an invalid picture reference in the message and the way Outlook deals with time-outs. A quick fix would be to disable the Reading Pane and delete the message. If you need to keep the message, you can easily fix it by deleting the offending image from the message itself or by editing your HOSTS file.

Facebook Provider update required

Re-release of Exchange 2007 and 2010 Update Rollups

Outlook 2016 / 2019 / 365 Update for July 2019
A new rollup update has been made available for all Click-to-Run installations of Outlook 2016, Outlook 2019 and Outlook as part of an Office 365 subscription. It contains 6 security updates for Excel (3), Outlook (1), Skype (1) and Office (1). In addition, an Outlook issue has been addressed that caused current folder search to intermittently fail.
OutlookTempCleaner 1.1
Iโve released an updated version of OutlookTempCleaner. In short, I added support for Outlook 2010, fixed a bug and did some fine-tuning. Of course, OutlookTempCleaner still remains free.
Some more details;
- Outlook 2010 is now properly recognized (1.0 contained only preliminary support for Outlook 2010).
- Fixed a bug where a message box could pop-up when using OutlookTempCleaner in silent mode (via a logon script for example) and no version of Outlook is installed on that system.
- Tweaked the size display of the folder to report in KB instead of as 0MB when the folder is less then 1MB in size.
