Outlook 2016 Update for October 2016
A Rollup Update has been released for Outlook 2016. This is a non-security update which contains 10 documented improvements and fixes.
Most notable fixes are:
- When you drag-and-drop a folder (folder C) between two other folders (folder A and folder B) that have sub-folders, folder C will be nested into folder A as a subfolder instead of being inserted between folder A and folder B at the same level.
- When you create a profile in cache mode in Outlook 2016, the cache setup is stuck at 5% or 30%.
- Folders are sometimes re-synchronized unexpectedly without warning in Outlook 2016.
All Office 365 users should now also see a mini-preview for attached photos instead of the generic picture icon.
