Outlook 2016 Update for January 2016
A Rollup Update has been released for Outlook 2016. This is a non-security update which contains 3 documented improvements and fixes.
- Translates some terms in multiples languages for the accuracy of the meaning.
- After you save an email message to an .msg file in Outlook 2016, the attachment in the email message is displayed as 0 kilobyte (KB).
- Assume that you send a meeting request that is in the HTML format in Outlook 2016. When you open the meeting request, the attachment is missing.

Note: This update can be installed via Microsoft Update or the Update Now button when you are using Office 365 and updates Outlook to version 16.0.4324.1000 (msi-based installation) or 16.0.6366.2056 (Office 365 based installation).
Outlook 2013 Update for January 2016
A Rollup Update has been released for Outlook 2013. This is a non-security update which contains 3 documented improvements and fixes.
- Allows you to disable automatic hyperlink detection in the subject field via the DisableUrlHighlightingInSubject Registry value.
- File names of attachments may be overwritten or swapped when the file names of the attachments contain characters other than US-ASCII.
- You can receive the wrong error message when enabling Automatic Replies but leave the Outside My Organization tab blank.

Outlook 2010 Update for January 2016 (fixes Safe Mode issue)
A new Rollup Update has been released for Outlook 2010 which fixes the Safe Mode issues that was caused by the first December update KB3114409.
This is essentially the same update as the second December update KB3114560 but that one wasn’t made available via Windows Update and WSUS.

Outlook.com migration changes; What do I need to know and do?
As announced a while ago, Microsoft is migrating all Outlook.com mailboxes to the Office 365 Exchange Online mail servers. This will give you a much better synching experience to Outlook but unfortunately may require you to re-add the Outlook.com account in Outlook and make some additional changes once your mailbox has been moved over.
