2 Hotfixes have been released for Outlook 2013 fixing a total of 10 issues which haven’t been included in the most current Rollup Update.

Hotfix KB2883074 for Outlook 2013

This hotfix contains 8 fixes for specific issues. Most notable fixes are:

• Modifying a Recurring Meeting for a Calendar in an Outlook.com or other EAS account, can send out multiple updates for each modified occurrence.
• Multiple fixes for IMAP accounts where the Read/Unread status isn’t being synchronized or Internet Header are being removed after moving a message.
• Search results will now show 250 items by default instead of the current 30. Note that this limit can also be configured via the Registry.

Hotfix KB2883076 for Outlook 2013
This hotfix contains 1 Outlook and 1 Word update.
After applying this hotfix, Outlook will no longer show downloading prompts or attempt to download a linked image when the link to the image doesn’t work. (This is finally the real solution to the PayPal message hang issue from almost 3 years ago!)

Hotfix KB2889819 for Outlook 2010
This hotfix fixes the issue where dragging an msg-file from an Explorer folder and dropping it back into Outlook creates a new message with that file as an attachment rather than creating the item within the folder.

Hotfix KB2881058 for Outlook 2010
After applying this hotfix, Outlook will no longer show downloading prompts or attempt to download a linked image when the link to the image doesn’t work. (This is finally the real solution to the PayPal message hang issue from almost 3 years ago!)

A Rollup Update has been released for Outlook 2013. This is a non-security update which contains the latest stability and performance improvements and contains updated holiday information.

Even though no further change log is provided, it does at least contain the 3 fixes from Hotfix KB2880961, 6 fixes from KB2881040, and 9 fixes from KB2882991 which are only available by request.

Most notable fixes are:

• You create a calendar item for an Outlook.com account, and you set the Reminder to None. In this situation, Outlook.com does not recognize the None setting, and it still creates a Reminder of 15 minutes.
• Dragging an msg-file from an Explorer folder and dropping it back into Outlook creates a new message with that file as an attachment rather than creating the item within the folder.
• Various crashing issues are solved for when you have an IMAP account configured in Outlook.
